01 Who we are

AutoShop POS is operated by the business named in the footer of this site (the “operator”, “we”). For data our shop customers enter into the software about their own customers, the shop is the controller and we act as its processor.

02 What we collect

  • Information you give us: name, shop name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, shop size, your current system and your message when you use a form or contact us.
  • Account data when you sign up for the software: business details, users, and billing information. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referrer, collected in server logs and, only if you accept analytics, by analytics tools.
  • Campaign data: UTM parameters and ad click IDs in the page address, stored in your browser so we know which campaign brought you, and sent with any form you submit.

03 How we use it

To answer enquiries and book demos; to provide, secure and support the software; to bill for subscriptions; to improve the site and product; and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for automated decisions with legal effects.

04 Legal bases

Where laws require a legal basis, we rely on performing a contract (providing the software), legitimate interests (answering enquiries, security, improving the site), consent (analytics cookies), and legal obligations (tax and accounting records).

05 Who we share it with

Service providers that run parts of our business: hosting, our CRM (GoHighLevel) for enquiries, a team chat tool for internal notifications, email and messaging providers, and payment processors. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.

Authorities when the law requires it. A buyer of our business, under the same protections, if the business is sold.

06 International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we use contractual safeguards for those transfers.

07 How long we keep it

Enquiries: up to 24 months after the last contact. Account data: for the life of the subscription and 30 days after cancelling, so you can export it, then deleted from live systems; backups roll off within 30 days. Billing records: as long as tax law requires.

08 Your rights

  • Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Use the data request page; we answer within the period your law sets (generally 30 to 45 days).
  • California residents: you can ask what personal information we collected, delete it, correct it, and opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context advertising. We do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
  • UAE residents: the UAE Personal Data Protection Law gives rights of access, correction, erasure and objection, applied as the law and its regulations provide.
  • Pakistan residents: we apply the same rights in practice and follow applicable Pakistani law, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act.

09 Cookies and storage

Essential browser storage remembers your settings (theme, colour, text size, country and cookie choice). Analytics loads only after you accept it. See the cookie policy for the list.

10 Security

We use HTTPS, access controls and backups, described on the security page. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at once if you suspect a problem.

11 Children

The site and software are for businesses and are not directed at children under 16.

12 Changes and contact

We will post changes here with a new date, and tell account holders about material changes. Questions: use the Show email button below or the contact page.
